Bifix currently supports Qlik Sense apps hosted in Qlik Cloud®. It connects to your authorized Qlik Cloud environment, assembles app metadata, and turns BI change tickets into review-ready implementation guidance — with validation steps, peer-review notes and a Jira update comment.
Built for the platforms your team already runs on
The problem
Raw ChatGPT doesn't know your app. So you become the context.
Every ticket means digging through the load script, master items, the data model and a dozen chart expressions — then pasting fragments into a chatbot that still guesses. It's slow, inconsistent, and hard to review.
Every ticket begins with gathering context before the real work starts.
guidance that changes with whoever wrote the prompt that day.
answers that blur what's confirmed with what's assumed.
How it works
Three steps between a ticket and a plan you can ship.
Connect securely
Confirm your authority before Bifix makes any Qlik request, then connect your Qlik Cloud environment through published APIs. Your API key is used for the request and is not intentionally written to Bifix storage or logs.
Assemble the context
Bifix extracts authorised app metadata such as the load script, master measures and dimensions, variables, sheets, expressions, data model, fields and reload metadata, then reports how complete the extraction was.
Generate the guide
Paste the ticket. Get a step-by-step, review-ready guide with exact snippets, validation checks, risks and a peer-review checklist.
What you get
Meaningfully better than a blank chat window.
Context, assembled
Load script, master items, variables, sheets, objects, data model, fields, lineage and reload metadata — collected automatically.
Confirmed vs assumed
Guides separate confirmed context, assumptions and items requiring developer confirmation.
Exact snippets
Set-analysis, script and expression changes written out — with the anti-patterns (like If() in measures) avoided by default.
Completeness score
Every extraction is scored and flagged, so you know exactly how much the guide can rely on.
Review-ready
Validation checklist, risks, edge cases, peer-review checklist and a drafted ticket comment — built in.
Controlled data flow
Bifix is designed not to request raw business rows. It applies best-effort sanitisation to extracted context before storage. Relevant sanitised metadata and the ticket content you enter may be sent to OpenAI. Redaction cannot guarantee that every personal or confidential detail is removed.
Platforms
Starting focused. Expanding carefully.
Bifix supports authorized Qlik Sense apps hosted in Qlik Cloud, connecting through published Qlik APIs to collect app metadata such as load scripts, master items, variables, object definitions and data-model information.
Future support for tabular models, DAX measures, relationships and Power Query metadata.
Future support for datasources, calculated fields, workbook metadata and lineage.
Security & trust
Designed to keep your BI context controlled.
Bifix uses customer-authorised access through published Qlik APIs, not file reverse-engineering. It supports ticket implementation and change documentation; it does not provide access to Qlik or replace Qlik catalogue, lineage or analysis products.
